About the Author

The head nerd around here is a child of the 80s. She has eclectic interests, ever-changing opinions, and a penchant for absurdity. She thinks the biological sciences are freakin’ awesome and loves a good story, even if it isn’t true. She’s quick to lend a hand and even quicker to laugh with you. Often, she thinks funny thoughts – and laughs at them out loud, much to the consternation and confusion of those around her. She’s embraced her nerdhood and thinks you should, too, but probably won’t tell you so.

She currently works in an anonymous cubicle somewhere in America, though, in semi-secret, she is plotting her escape…
